J&R Boat Storage is a family-owned and operated facility in Placida, Florida — the heart of Southwest Florida's boating country. Our team brings over 45 years of hands-on marine experience to everything we do. Whether your vessel is a classic wooden sailboat, a sport fishing boat, or a power cruiser, we treat every craft with the same respect and attention to detail that seasoned sailors bring to their own ships.
Our yard staff are always on hand to assist with maintenance, and our office can source both new and pre-owned parts on your behalf. We treat every vessel as if it were our own.

We can comfortably store vessels up to 50 feet, supported by a 37-ton hydraulic lift and heavy-duty hurricane tie-down systems.
Can I perform my own maintenance work on my boat?
Absolutely. We are a fully DIY-friendly facility. You are welcome to work on your own vessel, and our yard staff can assist or perform the work on your behalf. The office can also help source parts.
Do you provide transportation to and from the water?
Yes. Hydraulic trailer transport is included with our service. You may arrive by land or water — our team handles every transfer with care and professionalism.
What security measures are in place at the facility?
The yard is fully fenced with 13 surveillance cameras, 24-hour gated access control, and a hard compacted gravel surface. Your vessel is protected at all times.
Are there on-site amenities for extended stays?
Yes. Temporary-stay guests have access to shower facilities, a shared kitchen area, and a washer and dryer — all kept to a high standard of cleanliness.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday visits are available by appointment. We recommend contacting us in advance to reserve your space.
Do you offer full marine services on-site?
Yes. J&R Boat Storage has one of the strongest marine service backgrounds in Southwest Florida, with over 45 years of experience. Full marine services are available, or you can choose to perform your own work — it's entirely up to you.
Is J&R Boat Storage suitable for live-aboards?
Yes. We provide shower facilities for live-aboards along with a shared kitchen and laundry access. Our facility is designed to keep you comfortable whether you're visiting for a day or staying for an extended period.
